İYİ Party Chair Meral Akşener’s press advisor and Yeniçağ columnist Murat İde was taken into custody in a hotel where he was staying in Giresun. Detained over an article that he penned in 2015, a lawsuit was reportedly filed against İde due to this article in 2018.
İde was released from detention after giving his statement (October 8).
