On 23 September 2025, Musa Özuğurlu, moderator of the programme “Türkiye’nin Yönü” broadcasted on TELE1, was taken to the courthouse by the police over a subtitle that read “What’s the difference between RTE and Netanyahu?” which remained on screen for about one minute. Özuğurlu was released under judicial control with a travel ban and a signature requirement.
