The DİHA reporter Gökhan Öner and 4 defendants, who were detained on April 28, 2018 and arrested for “membership in a terrorist organisation” are being tried at the Denizli 2nd High Criminal Court. The court decided to the acquittal of Öner, who was the one only inmate on July 27, 2018.
The Court held its decision on April 16, 2019 and acquitted the DİHA reporter, Gökhan Öner, of the charge of “membership in a terrorist organisation” and sentenced him 10 months for “propagandising for a terrorist organisation”. The pronouncement of the judgement was suspended.
