Alican Uludağ, a reporter for Deutsche Welle (DW) Türkçe, announced in a social media message that an embargo was imposed on him by the Communications Directorate: “Today at 2 pm, the oath-taking ceremony of Muhterem İnce, the new member of the top court, was to take place at the Constitutional Court. The top court first invited me. But at the last minute the Communications Directorate had an embargo imposed on me. That was why I was taken off the guest list” (October 17).
