The Aydın Criminal Judgeship of Peace treated the retraction requested by Aydın Köşk Sub-governor and published by Evrensel as an announcement and ruled that the text should be published on “two news websites and two newspapers whose circulation was over a hundred thousand.”
Devrim Avcı, the lawyer of the newspaper, underlined that the decision was both unjust and openly against the law and said, “The Press Law has no such provision. This is openly against the law” (January 4).
