The 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance in İstanbul fined Enver Aysever 10,620 Turkish Liras for allegedly “insulting the Grand National Embassy of Turkey” on the grounds that he insulted the parliamentarian Fazilet Nurel Uğural over his article “Boktan düzenin yetiştirdikleri” in daily BirGün. The case was opened according to art.301 of Turkish Penal Code but he was charged for “insult” according to art.125
