73 defendants including Fethullah Gülen, Samanyolu News Group Chairsperson Hidayet Karaca, the journalist Ekrem Dumanlı, the co-founder of Zaman Newspaper Aladdin Kaya are being tried for “attempting to overthrowing the state”, “violation of the Constitution”, “establishing and commanding a terrorist organization”, ” military espionage” among others. They are facing up to two aggravated life and 132 years 1 month of imprisonment. Ankara 4th Heavy Criminal Court has seperated the cases of defendants who are being sought by the arrest warrant including Ekrem Dumanlı.
