Journalist Hasan Cemal faced charges of “propagandizing for a terrorist organization” with his article entitled “Fehman Hussein” dated July 11, 2016 published in T24 at the 22th High Criminal Court in İstanbul. He was sentenced to 1 year and 3 months of imprisonment. He was acquittal of the charge of “Praising an Offence and Offender” (14 February 2017).
