In the trial of seven people, four arrested, over the armed attack on journalist Hakan Denizli while he was about to get in his car with his daughter and grandchild in Adana’s Seyhan district on May 24, the arrested defendants were released. Denizli was attacked in the wake of the Local Elections on March 31, 2019, amid the wave of attacks that targeted media representatives criticizing the government. The trial will continue at the Criminal Court of First Instance on November 20 (June 10).
