Journalists Oguzhan Aktas, Bahar Cesur, Arzu Yildirim, Elif Cetiner, Damla Bektas and Bilal Cigrin were attacked by the security forces on 13 February 2017 while they were reporting the press statement held in front of Kocaeli University Anitpark Campus. Aktaş and Cesur were injured in the attack.
