The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office launched an investigation against Mezopotamya Agency (MA) reporter Berivan Altan on the grounds that she allegedly “provoked the public to hatred and hostility or degraded them” with her news report titled “Racist attack on a Kurdish family in Ankara: Women and children taken out of the neighborhood”.

As part of the investigation, Altan gave her statement at the Ankara Security Directorate’s Security Department (June 2).
