The Mardin Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation against JinNews reporter Öznur Değer on charge of “propagandizing for a terrorist organization” on the grounds of two social media posts on her account. Değer gave her statement at the Counterterrorism Department of the Kızıltepe Security Directorate (July 20).
The investigation launched against Değer by the Mardin Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office on charge of “propagandizing for a terrorist organization” due to her social media posts ended in a decision of non-prosecution (September 2).
