On 4 September, BirGün newspaper reporter İsmail Arı posted on his X account that members of the Menzil Community threatened him on social media because of his book “Menzil’in Kasası.” Arı wrote, “I have been threatened by members of the Menzil Community for a long time. They want to have my book confiscated and destroyed, and they are threatening me. If something happens to me, the public prosecutors who ignore my complaints are responsible.” (September 2nd).
