Journalist Sultan Çoban was on trial for alleged “making propaganda for a terrorist organization” due to her facebook sharing. At the hearing held on February 27, Konya 8th High Criminal Court found Çoban guilty and sentenced her to 1 year and 3 months of imprisonment. The court decided to suspend the execution of the sentence and lifted the previously imposed international travel ban and judicial control measures.
