Bakirkoy 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance began to judge Evrensel newspaper columnist Kamil Tekin Sürek on the charge of “insulting the Turkish President” over his article entitled “Fascist Dictatorship” which criticizes against the government.
On December 2018, Sürek was acquitted.
