The 19th Commercial Court of First Instance of İstanbul sentenced Cumhuriyet newspaper’s former grant holder Orhan Erinç and reporter Mehmet Kızmaz to pay 15 thousand TL for non-pecuniary damage due to the news article, entitled “3. Havalimanı Mezarlık Gibi”, about the working conditions and deaths of workers in the 3rd airport construction on the grounds that it allegedly damaged the reputation of the company.
