Galip Yılmaz Özkurşun, the prosecutor of the lawsuit filed into the train accident that claimed the lives of 25 people in Çorlu, Tekirdağ, filed a lawsuit against journalist Mustafa Hoş, who had been closely following the trial since its beginning, and requested 110 thousand lira in damages. The İstanbul 19th Civil Court of First Instance ruled that Hoş should pay 40 thousand lira in damages for “targeting the judicial authority deliberately” (February 4).
