Vice Minister of Health Sabahattin Aydın filed a lawsuit and demanded 100 thousand lira in damages from daily Evrensel, which covered the Parliamentary question of Republican People’s Party (CHP) Ankara MP Murat Emir regarding the allegations about a company, among the shareholders of which were Aydın’s spouse and son. Aydın filed a lawsuit against Cumhuriyet and BirGün newspapers as well (September 20).
