Barış Çiftçi, the president of the Ak Youth Hearts of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) which is established as a parallel structure to the AKP Youth Branches, threatened Merve Dişli, correspondent of Kocaeli Barış newspaper.
Dişli reported the opening of the Ak Youth Hearts Kocaeli branch in an article called “They have founded the youth hearts organization for the AKP youth but the youth do not know about it!”
Barış Çiftçi, the president of the Ak Youth Hearts, addressed Dişli and said, “She will pay the price of this report.” He threatened her and said that she should know her place.
