İHA correspondent Murat Uçkaç was subjected to a physical attack while reporting about drug selling suspects while they were being transfered to the courthosue in Aydın. The relatives of the suspects tried to prevent him from taking pictures and to take his equipment from him.
DHA correspondent Burhan Ceyhan, Hedef Newspaper correspondent Abdurrahman Fırat and Manşet Newspaper correspondent Melek Fırat were also subjected to violence together with Uçkaç. Police and gendarme intervened and took three aggressors into custody upon complaint by the journalists.
