Oda Tv news portal’s Ankara office news editor Müyesser Yıldız is standing trial for the allegations on “insult” and “calumny”. The case relies on news articles she penned in relation to the testimony of anonymous witness “Abdullah”, who have testified at the Chief of Staff main trial pertaining the military coup attempt.

Ankara 35th Assize Criminal Court decided on the acquittal of the journalist on calumny charges, however, sentenced her to 7 thousand and 80 TL for insult. The court suspended the pronouncement of the verdict.
