A lawsuit was filed against Namık Koçak over his social media messages from the years 2015-2020; Koçak was charged with “propagandizing for a terrorist organization”.
At the second hearing of the trial held on March 3, 2022, the İstanbul 22nd High Criminal Court concluded that the elements of the offense charged did not arise and ruled that Namık Koçak should be acquitted (March 3).
