During home raids in Diyarbakır on May 6, 2024, journalists Nurcan Yalçın and Derya Us were detained on charges of “membership in a terrorist organization” (Turkish Criminal Code Article 314/2) and “violation of the law on preventing the financing of a terrorist organization”. The journalists were released on judicial control measures on 7 May (7 May).
