An investigation has been launched against journalist Oktay Candemir over a social media post about Habertürk columnist Çetiner Çetin’s placement in the Vanspor Executive Board list. Facing charges of “insult” (Turkish Penal Code – TCK Article 125) and “disturbing individuals’ peace and harmony” (TCK Article 123), Candemir gave his statement at the Van Provincial Security Directorate (October 19).
