Van Prosecution Office launched an investigation against journalist Oktay Candemir due to a news article entitled “The young man laid off after a security investigation and could not find a new job, commits suicide” for allegedly provoking the public to hatred, hostility or degrading. Two separate investigations are launched against journalist due to his article entitled “Inadequate quarantine measures taken by the District of Çaldıran”  and his social media post in relation to Ministry of Interior Süleyman Soylu’s resignation.
