Önder Aytaç is being tried due to the coup attempt with 72 other defendants at the Ankara 4th Heavy Criminal Court. Aggravated life imprisonment is requested for each.
The court separated the case for some defendants including Aytaç and sentenced others, on 15 January 2019.
