Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation against 22 people over their social media messages about “Operation Peace Spring” launched by Turkey into northern Syria on October 9.

As part of this investigation, the police raided the house of Jinnews reporter Beritan Canözer at 9.30 p.m. on October 10. While Canözer was not at home during the raid, police officers searched her house.

Confiscating some magazines, photographs and newspapers, officers said that Canözer had to depose at the Diyarbakır Security Directorate due to her social media messages.
