The house of JinNews reporter Hikmet Tunç in Van’s Edremit district was raided by plain clothes police officers and gendarmerie in a midnight raid on November 18, 2021 on the grounds that “there was a weapon and bomb call”. Following the search at the house, the police and gendarmerie left without seizing any materials (November 18).
