Women from the Confederation of Public Employees Trade Unions (KESK) who wanted to protest the Council of State’s ruling on the withdrawal from the İstanbul Convention in Ankara were prevented by the police. Police officers intervened in the protest and inflicted violence on women and journalists. Pirha journalist Melis Ciddioğlu was battered.
