Turan, the Tunceli reporter for Mezopotamya, was taken into custody after the police search and taken to the Provincial Security Directorate, on March 6. Then she was released. On March 22, Turan was detained again upon arrival at the police station to take her came back on the grounds of another investigation launched by authorities in Ankara, where she was transported by the police, according to the website. The details of the investigation have not been clarified. She has has been released with an international travel ban.
