The former editor of the monthly political magazine Demokratik Modernite Servet Öner has been taken into custody in her house in the district of Beyoğlu in İstanbul as part of the operation that was launched in Turkey’s southeastern province of Diyarbakır on October 9. She was released from detention on the same day after giving her statement.
