Members of HDP and few journalists, including Duygu Erol, in total 11 people, were taken into custody in a home raid on 20 March as part of an operation. They were referred to a Criminal Judgeship of Peace with the prosecutor’s demand their arrest for allegedly “being a member in a terrorist organisation” and “propagandising for a terrorist organisation” on March 24, 2018.  They were released with an international travel ban.
