Jin News reporters Duygu Erol and Habibe Eren, editor of Jin News Sibel Yükler and reporters for Mezopotamya News Agency, Selman Güzelyüz and Diren Yurtsever were taken into custody in a house raid in Ankara on the ground of a “complaint” on October 20, 2017.
Jin News reporters Duygu Erol and Habibe Eren have been released after being deposed at the prosecutor’s office on October 20. Duygu Erol was released on probation with a travel ban. Questions about journalistic activities were asked in the prosecution questioning. The reporters were asked about their news reports.
