An investigation is launched against the owner and managing editor of locak newspaper Saray Daily, Alper Karahan, due to the news article covering the investigation which was launched against the Saray Municipality based on a social media post. The post was shared for the commemoration day of the execution of the death penalty sentence of Deniz Gezmiş, Yusuf Aslan and Hüseyin İnan. According to the article of Saray Daily published on May 29, Alper Karahan was summoned to the Saray Police Station for his statement but Karahan requested to proffer his statement to the prosecutor.
