Journalist Yaşar Anter was arrested due to an article published at Sözcü Newspaper, on the Sheikh of Dubai’s boat anchored to the coast of Bodrum, a district of Muğla. An investigation is launched against journalist for allegedly “threatening with the intention of causing fear and panic among the public”. Public prosecutor requested journalist to be arrested, however, the court released journalist deciding that there was no reasonable doubt demonstrating the crime was committed. (15 March)
