Mustafa Öge, the owner of Didim Özgürses, Ergün Korkmaz, who owns the newspaper Mavi Didim, and Erdem Özden, its reporter, are standing trial for “inciting the public to hatred and enmity” for publishing the critical statements of Emek Party in Didim on “Afrin Operation” at the 1st Criminal Court of First Instance in Didim. The hearing began on June 22, 2018. The court adjourned the case until 16 October 2018.

On the last hearing held on April 10, 2019, the court decided the acquittal of the journalists.
