MTP (Nationalist Turkey Party) Istanbul Provincial Chairman Bilal Gökçeyurt and Turan Quarries Chairman Ercan Uçar left a black wreath in front of Agos newspaper on the morning of 24 April 2015 and read a statement containing a threat with the title “One night we can come suddenly”.

The Istanbul 62nd Criminal Court of First Instance acquitted the defendants on 18 November 2016. The decision was overturned by the Court of Appeal.

Upon the decision of the Court of Appeal, the Istanbul 62nd Criminal Court of First Instance sentenced the defendants to five months’ imprisonment for “threatening”and five months of imprisonments for “insulting race and religion ”. The court decided to defer the pronouncement of the judgement. (April 25, 2017).
