İsmail Arı, a reporter for daily BirGün, called AKP MP Ahmet Akay after he had gotten a video showing Şerafettin Akay, the nephew and lawyer of the MP, while firing with a long barrelled weapon, the sale of which is forbidden. Arı announced that he was threatened by Akay when he called him to ask him about his opinion on the video (February 10).
