Ayşenur Parıldak, the former reporter for now-closed Zaman newspaper has been tried for “membership in a terrorist organisation (FETÖ)” on the grounds that she contacted with the Twitter account, “FuatAvni” who passes information inside the government through his account.

The 14th High Criminal Court of Ankara sentenced Zaman’s former correspondent Ayşenur Parıldak to 7 years and 6 months of imprisonment on November 21, 2017 for “membership in a terrorist organisation (FETÖ) on the grounds of using ByLock.
