Cumhuriyet daily correspondent Canan Coşkun has been sentenced to 10 months on the charge of “publicly insulting the military or the security organization of the state” in a news article she had written at the İstanbul 2nd Penal Court of First Instance. The pronouncement of the judgement has been suspended on May 9, 2017.
