On February 16, 2018, the 11th High Criminal Court of Adana sentenced Journalist Abdullah Özyurt 7 years 6 months of imprisonment in the case in which he was accused of “membership in a terrorist organization [FETÖ]” for 15 years of imprisonment. He has been released for house arrest. The Regional Court of Justice of Adana approved the sentence.
