At the hearing held on March 3 at the 4th High Criminal Court of Van, Yeni Yaşam newspaper reporter Ferdi Sertkal has been sentenced to 1 year 6 months and 22 days of imprisonment with the charge of “propagandising for a terrorist organisation” on the grounds of his social media posts. The pronouncement of the judgement has been suspended (3 March).
